MICRO AND MACRO FACTORS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE UNIFIED TRANSPORT SYSTEM OF GEORGIA

Summary 

Transport is an important part of the economy of Georgia that is stipulated due to the necessity of transportation service for the economics in general on the one hand and the geopolitical location of the country on the other hand that takes the advantage in transit transportation for Azerbaijan and Armenia traffic, partly in Central Asia.

The service sector is traditionally an important area of ​​the national economy of any developed country. That's why in recent years the share of services in the GDP growth is increasing.

The development of the service sector, including transportation services, is shared by the following factors in the structure of the world countries national economy:

- State policy and state regulation;

- Traditions of entrepreneurial sphere;

- Information technologies development;

- Internationalization, etc.

For full enactment of the Georgia transport potential is the necessary improvement in such macro-economic factors, as market infrastructure, monetary system and policy, tax environment and economy legislation validity and operationability, while implementation from microeconomic factors due modern management approaches and information about automation, mechanized processing, professional and qualification improvement, application of advanced and efficient means of transport.

Special attention should be paid to the use of marine transport. Georgia is a maritime country, but it is in the number of exceptional countries that do not have a naval fleet and maritime transport is limited to marine ports. In the formation of the fleet it is necessary to involve the state.
